4th of July Chocolate Dipped Ice Cream Cones

Chocolate Dipped Ice Cream Cones: A perfect summer party treat | One Hungry Mama

These Chocolate Dipped Ice Cream Cones might be the best party treat ever—and not just because they’re tasty. They are also easy for you since the kids can make these ahead (or at the party as an edible craft), and then you just scoop and serve. I used red, white, and blue this time for the 4th of July, but you can make these for any party using plain or white chocolate, colored candy melts, and any toppings you can image.

Be sure to watch the video for ideas on how to keep the chocolate smooth (a must!), what to use as toppings, and also my trick for making sure that ice cream doesn’t drip everywhere once the kids dig into these. Because making them is messy enough!

One more quick note: If you decide to make these a party activity, make sure to set them out early so that there’s time for them to harden in the freezer before it’s time to serve dessert.
