Green Cardamom Smoothie | One Hungry Mama

Everyone’s favorite: a green smoothie! Okay, I’m being facetious. I know that you’re tired of green smoothies. But I also know that you like them. Right? Right? You’re just bored with the same old formula and this one is fresh and new and irresistibly delicious.

I’m a huge fan of cardamom and, if you are, too, this is your new go-to green smoothie. Paired with shredded coconut, coconut water and lime, this has a bright, exotic flavor that will transport you to southeast Asia. Or at least that’s what it does for me.

The mango lends this smoothie a bit of sweetness, but not too much. My kids like this as is, but you can always add a touch of honey if your children need a little bit more. And don’t worry about the kale: you don’t even taste it. It just lends a gorgeous green color and nutrition boost.

Give this a try and let me know what you think. While you’re at it, here are some other smoothie recipes to whet your appetite.

  4. I agree, they are rather short nowadays.. . The point of them is to look fashionable by wearing tight jeans or leggings under them, but many girls have that inner need to be noticed, so they don’t see the point in pants.. . Hopefully it’s a phase that girls will grow out of.

  5. Just find a recipe that you like for a soup or stew and prep the quantities called for in the recipe in the into the smaller bags then grouped into the gallon bag. Keeping in mind that things like green beans, peas, greens and potatoes need to blanched before freezing. Meats, cheeses, herbs and spices should also be bagged separately as stated in the article.
