Healthy family eating in 2013—on your terms, not mine

Healthy Family Eating in 2013

I’ve been hearing from you all for a while now. You write to me via email, careful not to air your concerns publicly through comments. Careful not to admit too loudly that you’re worried: worried that your kids aren’t getting enough of the good foods they need to be healthy, worried that you aren’t being the best mom that you can be around food.

I get it—always have—and you need to know that it’s not your fault. Nobody taught you how to fit healthy eating into our insanely busy family schedules. It’s not easy, which is why I’m making myself available to you. Personally.

I’ve started a client program, Real Family Food in Real Family Time, where I work with parents all over the country one-on-one to offer customized solutions for getting your family healthy on your terms. As I writer, I’ve been sharing the ideals of healthy family eating for a long time but, as you know, ideals don’t fit well into family life! Working with you individually allows me to take into account your schedule, your budget, your family’s tastes, and your personal commitment to health—whatever it is—so that we can come up with a lasting plan to make this your family’s healthiest year yet.

No meal planning app or food delivery service will sustain you alone. There are no magic bullet recipes. (Believe me, I’ve tried coming up with them for you!) The only way to shift the way that you feed your family for good is to come up with a plan tailored to your real life, which is why I’m thrilled to offer today a free Fresh Family Year Session to the first 7 readers who register.

To schedule your Fresh Family Year session, email freshyear@onehungrymama.com [1] with three (3) ideal days/times that work for you in February. I’ll work on scheduling something with the first 7 folks who get in touch.

In our 45-minute phone call, we’re going to:

* Get clear on what you want healthy eating to look like in your house,
* Identify the obstacles standing in your way of fitting healthy eating into your life without stress, and
* Create a clear plan for how to overcome those obstacles and stop feeling bad about the cooking and eating challenges that inevitably come with busy family life.

Whether you decide to work with me or not, you will leave the session feeling inspired and motivated to move towards your goals and better family health.

As always, you can email me with questions, but keep in mind that sessions go quickly. Your best bet is to sign up right away knowing that I will make time in our conversation to fill you in on the details of my program and, of course, answer all of your questions.

And be on the lookout for more info about my program going up on the site soon. I’m so excited to dig in with you all and get real about healthy family eating.
