{12 Days of Yum} KitchenAid 7-Quart Stand Mixer Giveaway [CLOSED]

KitchenAid Stand Mixer Giveaway

A winner has been selected: congrats to Kristen! And thanks to everyone else for reading and joining in the fun.

Well, friends, this is it. The last day of “The 12 Days of Yum” holiday giveaway series and, as promised, we’re ending with a bang, PoP, POW.

Today’s giveaway is for the new KitchenAid 7-quart stand mixer in YOUR choice of red, silver or black.

I. Covet. This. Mixer!

You know the worst part (that’s really the best part)? I have no reason to get it since KitchenAid products are so reliable! I’ve had mine—a kitchen tool I can’t live without—for years and, after a ridiculous amount of use, it’s still in perfect condition.

Just like the recipes that my KitchenAid helps turn into mouthwatering treats, the machine itself plays a lead role in my kitchen story. It’s a piece of my everyday life that I hope my grandchildren will cherish the way that I cherish my yiayia’s favorite pot.

This new 7-quart mixer is the largest capacity residential bowl-lift available and comes with:

* 1.3 HP high efficiency DC motor
* A 16 cup flour capacity and 14 dozen cookie capacity; it can also handle 8 1/2 loaves of bread and 8 1/2 lbs of mashed potatoes
* Dishwasher safe sccessories: a beater, dough hook and whip
* A 2-year warranty

To be eligible to win, leave a comment here by midnight on Wednesday 12/21 telling me the first thing you hope to make in your new KitchenAid!

I’ll be working on some new holiday desserts in my ol’ reliable KitchenAid stand mixer and, of course, pie dough for my annual Chocolate Espresso Pecan Pie.

Pie Dough

Good luck! And be sure to check out the other open giveaways in The 12 Days of Yum before I close the series out on Wednesday.

I’ve had tons of fun giving stuff out. I hope you’ve had some fun, too! You, my hungry friends, deserve it!

*This prize package is valued at about $549.00 plus shipping and will be provided directly by KitchenAid to a U.S. resident selected by Random.org. This is not a traditional sponsorship in that I reached out to KitchenAid—not the other way around. I have not received anything for free in relation to this giveaway, and all opinions are strictly my own, thank you very much!

My KA mixer is at least 15 years old too and has held up beautifully. Still, I could certainly use this larger version and would happily donate my (still working) one to a friend or someone in need of a mixer. What would I make first is a batch of my biscotti because the recipe maxes out my current bowl size. :-)

  21. Dana says:

Probably a double batch of gingersnaps or cinnamon rolls

  22. Julie says:

WOW! Tough decision! But I’d have to go with Molasses Oatmeal Bread, an old family recipe! Like the previous commenter, the recipe overflows my largest mixing bowl and that dough hook would cut my work in half and save my wrists the pain of mixing manually!

  23. Jeniece says:

since my husband and i can’t afford christmas presents this year, this would make my day!
    i would make bread

  24. Laura says:

Scones. Lots and lots of scones. Raisin scones, lemon scones, blueberry scones, savory scones with fresh herbs. They’re my dad’s favorite and at 75, I’d like to give back to him some of the sweet life he’s treated me to all these years!

  25. Jen says:

I would so love this, I use my current kitchen aid almost every single day and it’s totally time for an upgrade!

  26. Katrina says:

    some cupcakes….maybe pumpkin flavored!

  27. Sam M says:

I would love, love, love to try out that bread hook on a nice whole wheat loaf, and then maybe some chocolate chip cookies.

  28. Dana Horesh says:

I will make my grandmother Mommy Jo’s Jelly Roll with apricot jelly. She passed away a little over a year ago, and even though I have a lot of cousins. I am the only one that knows her recipe. I do it to keep her memory alive and to feed my children what my grandmother fed me.

  29. Grace V says:

some sort of delicious bundt cake – my bundt pan is a 12 cup and I don’t have a big enough mixing bowl!

  30. Rebekah says:

I would make triple chocolate chunk cookies!

  31. Wesley Couse says:

The first thing I would make would have to be molasses cookies.

Something sugary & delicious (OK, OK, my wife will prob bake it, but what the hey!)

  33. Suzie says:

I’d mix up a batch of my Grandma’s cinnamon rolls.

  34. Ellen M says:

I want to make a beautiful loaf of bread. I’ve always loved watching Martha and Ina whip up yummy breads with their stand mixer and it would be a great way to start the new year with the smell of home baked bread in my kitchen.
