Alright lovelies, here’s the straight dope: I’ve got news for you. But I also have to run. I’m cooking a family classic with the Hungry Boy’s class today. (How many of the 14 three- and four-year-olds will eat spinach pie? Place your bets. I’ll be reporting back soon!) So you’re going to have to wait on the news.
I know. I’m a tease. But here’s a hint:
Check out the piece I published on Momtastic today: How to *Naturally* Color Your Own Decorating Sugar.
It’s the perfect Valentine’s Day weekend project (time to get messy in the kitchen with the kids!)
And helps you avoid synthetical food coloring. I know that sounds ridiculous — I hear you now: must eat pink on Valentine’s Day! — but even the FDA is even considering banning synthetic food dyes, which are already banned in Europe. Since there’s little chance that kiddo will *not* ingest pink and red food on Monday, might as well do what you can to keep the yucky stuff to a minimum.

So, enjoy. And stay tuned… more soon.
Xo
