I just re-discovered an amazing foodie themed toy box that I found while looking for holiday inspiration on the always fabulous Cool Mom Picks. The company behind the genius gift sets, Jade’s Toy Box, puts together amazing boxes filled with goodies focused on a particular theme. I, of course, am in love with the Moody Foodie box, but there are lots of other themes to choose from including arts and crafts (“Pint-Sized Picasso”), nature and exploration (“Discovery Box”) and daily routines (“The Grind”). BRILLIANT! According to Cool Mom Picks, you can also contact Jade’s Toy Box to inquire about a custom box focused on your little one’s obsession of the moment.
Back to the food! If your kiddos are budding chefs — or if you’re trying to get them more excited about mealtime — the Moody Foodie box, filled with colorful, US-made pots and dishware made of recycled plastic, sensory dough, a food puzzle, cooking/art apron, games, sliceable fruit & veggies and more, is for you.
You can choose between two versions, one created for kids 18-months to 3-years-old or another for 3- to 6-year-olds. You can also choose between 2 box sizes, a mini concept box for $59 or an original concept box for $175.
This is TOTALLY going on the birthday list. Or, you know, it’s never too late to start that gift file for the holidays 2011!
