Who loves Bakerella, raise your hand!!!
If both of your arms aren’t in the air, it must be because you aren’t familiar with the brilliance of Angie Dudley, aka Bakerella. There’s no other possible explanation. Because if you know Bakerella, you love Bakerella. She is, after all, the creative genius baker behind the cake pops phenomenon.
With the holiday baking season underway, I interviewed Bakerella herself to get her holiday baking tips. I also grabbed her recipe for Reindeer Chow (can be shared with kids 24+ mos*), a 10-minute-to-make confection made with crunchy cereal, peanut butter, chocolate and confectioners sugar. It’s the perfect way to ease yourself into the holiday yummies.
Read on to get tidbits like Bakerella’s single most important piece of advice for holiday baking and to learn which treat make the holidays special for her. And, of course, to get her recipe for Reindeer Chow, the most addictive, chocolatey-peanut buttery munchie known to man.
*Note: There’s nothing in Reindeer Chow that cannot be safely shared with tree-nut eating children 10+ mos, but I recommend for older children because of the high sugar content.
