I recently wrote about my change of heart about (change of taste for?) butterscotch on The Family Kitchen. It’s a flavor I avoided for years. Why exactly? I have no idea. Insanity? What else could explain refusal for a taste create by butter and brown sugar?
Either way, the insanity is over. We have this Butterscotch Pudding to thank for it. And this isn’t just any butterscotch pudding. It’s butterscotch pudding by pastry genius and cookbook author David Lebovitz.
If you’ve got butter, brown sugar, eggs and milk, you’ve got what it takes to make this. So go for it… now! Or file this away for one of your upcoming holiday meals. The warm flavor is a perfect way to end a holiday dinner and creamy pudding offers a (gluten free!) respite from all of the pies and cakes.
