{parenting} DIY Napkin Rings for Thanksgiving, Have the Kids Help!

These are so pretty you get two pictures!

I’m such a sucker for gorgeous, curly script lettering. Seriously. I can think of nothing sexier than ornate script letting tattoos. But I digress.

These stripped down notes of thanks—with room for you to add something for which you’re grateful—are a lovely addition to any Thanksgiving table. They can be napkin rings, part of your centerpiece, or turned into an activity where friends and family share the people and things for which they are thankful.

Download the template for these FREE printables by Silverbox Design to get started. And maybe even get the kiddos to help put these together. Even preschoolers can help cut these out (with kid scissors, of course) and glue them together.

And THANK YOU, Twig & Thistle, for the lovely find.

These napkin rings are so cool. I actually just finished some felt leaf napkin rigs with my daughter for Thanksgiving next week. She loved making them and they came out really cute. You can check it out on my blog http://dabblingsandwhimsey.blogspot.com/2010/11/friday-night-craft-night-thanksgiving.html
