I mentioned this combo in my last post, but thought it was worth calling out. This “recipe” is delish, as measured by how big the Hungry Baby opens his mouth when I feed him… and the fact that I find it hard not to steal bites!
If you do the separate baby food thing, make a big batch for your little one. Otherwise, pulse these three well-matched ingredients with a little olive oil and vinegar while making this Golden Beet & Pickled Golden Raisin Salad or this Roasted Beet and Orange Salad with Creamy Dill Vinaigrette for the rest of the family. Unless, of course, you’re ready to share these recipes with baby as written. Go for it! If your child has no personal of family history of food allergies, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t.
However you share beets with your littlest eater, she’ll be happy you did!
